From PKCali (from our Info to Start You Off page also used on other sites including BAPK)

From PKNA (taken from Parkour.net and used on various other sites including PKTO)
Parkour is a natural method to train the human body to be able to move forward quickly making use of the environment that's around us at any given time.

From APK
Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path by adapting one's movements to the environment.

From NYPK
Simply put "Parkour" is an art developed to help you navigate your environment from one point to another, using the capabilities of the human body. Furthermore it is not an expression, a method, or religion, it is simply a way to train the body to overcome obstacles.

From Overflux
Parkour is a physical discipline inspired by human movement, focusing on efficient forward motion over, under, and around obstacles in one's environment.

From SFPK
Parkour is an art that helps you overcome obstacles as quickly and efficiently as possible, using only the abilities of the human body.

From AKPK
it is the art of overcoming obstacles as swiftly and efficiently as possible using only your body.

From PKVA
Parkour is the art of moving through your environment using only your body and the surroundings to propel yourself.

From PKBC
Parkour is a discipline that aids in passing obstacles. To move from one place to another using only the possibilities of the human body.

From MadPK
Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path by adapting one's movements to the environment.

From David Belle:
"Le Parkour, c’est une methode d’entrainement physique qui permet de franchir les obstacles dans le milieu urbain ou dans le milieu naturelle."

Translated it says: "Parkour is a method of physical training which allows us to overcome obstacles, both in the urban and natural environments."

“Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
