Balboa Park, San Diego - Summer 2011

Who Can Come?: ANYONE!!! Whether you're a beginner looking for a place to start, a veteran looking to meet up with some locals, or just wanna spectate PLEASE come out !!

When Is The Next Session?: EVERY Saturday @ 1pm
Where Will It Be?: Balboa Park, in the Zoro / Butterfly garen (see travel route below)

Anything Else?

People often show up late so you might have to do a little exploring to find everyone. Once you've been to a couple sessions you'll have a better idea of the usual route we take through the park. I recommend exchanging phone numbers with somebody you know is going to be there in case you cant find anyone or get separated from the group.

WOO-HOO!!!! Its almost summer, usually the time more people start coming out...

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone...

Please try to stay out of the bushes / plants / trees with flexible branches...

In addition, if we are approached by park staff or even just the general public about getting off trees or platforms, etc DO NOT argue with them, be respectful to the park / people, just get off, apologize and train elsewhere...

This past weekend we had a situation where a few people got into it with a older gentleman who i had to apologize to off to the side for the rudeness...

The park staff is kind enough to let us use the park every week, don't ruin it for everyone else.

Maybe 10 or so people on average but many more on a good day. These sessions are only loosely structured with people trying things as they feel comfortable.

There are people who can teach you anything you want to know if you just ask. Everyone is friendly and willing to share their knowledge so we tend to learn from each other.

ALSO, apparently its national parkour day this weekend so be prepared to have a larger group then normal...

I might not be able to make it out cuz Imma be kronuming and then I'm going to a concert... but we shall see. Balboa park has a way of sucking me there every saturday
